The two principal scales used in tonal music are major and minor. In this section of the course, the focus will be on minor scales. You will learn how to write minor scales and how to identify and write minor key signatures. You will also learn about relative and parallel key relationships and about the differences between natural, melodic, and harmonic forms of minor.
