Section 5 Overview

An interval is the distance between two pitches. It is essential to have a good understanding of musical intervals before undertaking a study of musical harmony. In this section of the course, you will learn about interval sizes, interval qualities, interval inversions, and compound intervals. You will also be able to practice identifying intervals by ear.
